Setup

• Prometheus setup
  • Download and install
  • Create its own user on the machine
  • /etc/systemd/system/prometheus.service - Create a service file
  • sudo systemctl daemon-reload, sudo systemctl start prometheus, sudo systemctl enable prometheus - Start the service
  • System-level metrics will be recorded
